About Us
Auroraglen Havanese is a breeder of quality show and pet Havanese located in the breathtaking “Hills of the Headwaters”, one hour north of the Toronto International Airport. Our dogs live with us in our home and are very much a part of our family life. We show and breed for both type and temperament and strive to improve the quality of our puppies with each successive generation while maintaining the characteristics and strengths that make this breed unique.
We have the privilege of owning multiple AKC/CKC Champions.
The Havanese is one of the most delightful of the toy breeds. They are a hearty and sturdy dog for their size. They are curious and exceptionally intelligent with an expression of mischievousness. They are natural clowns with a comical show off nature. They thrive on human companionship, love children and get along with other animals. They are an odorless and non-shedding breed.
We CERF all of our breeding dogs every year by a qualified Veterinary Ophthalmologist and have a certification of their patellas completed when they turn one year.
